Math Calculators

Percentages, scientific functions and everyday math.

Math calculators handle the everyday calculations that are easy to get wrong in your head. The percentage calculator solves percent of a number, what percent one number is of another, percent change and percent difference, and shows the formula for each answer.

The scientific calculator covers trigonometry in degrees or radians, logarithms, powers, roots and factorials, follows the standard order of operations and works with your keyboard. Every result is kept in a history list so you can reuse it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate a percentage of a number?

Multiply the number by the percentage and divide by 100. For example, 15% of 80 is 80 × 15 ÷ 100 = 12.

How do I calculate percent change?

Subtract the old value from the new value, divide by the old value and multiply by 100. Going from 50 to 65 is a change of (65 − 50) ÷ 50 × 100 = 30%.

Does the scientific calculator use degrees or radians?

Both. Use the DEG / RAD switch to choose the angle unit for sin, cos and tan.

Can I type with my keyboard?

Yes. Type digits and the operators + - * /, press Enter for equals, Backspace to delete and Esc to clear.
